Disney trip day 1

We drove to California on a Saturday night. We ended up getting in pretty late so the fun really didn’t start until Sunday the 21. We woke up early and headed over to Disneyland. It rained on us a bit right after we got there. It didn’t last long though.

The first two rides we went on was, finding Nemo and Space Mountain. Cali is crazy for roller coasters which mad this trip so great for us… Which is kind of ironic because my first roller coaster was space mountain at about 5 or 6 years old. I cried and screamed “I don’t want to die” to my dad as we were nearing the front of the line

Cali’s favorite ride of the day was thunder mountain. She put her hands up and screamed with joy the whole time…

We also took the little girls to meet the princess’s

After the first round of princess’s Grandpa decided to buy them each a real princess dress from Disneyland, and autograph books. It was so sweet of him and the girls were over the moon about it They each picked different ones. Cali chose Aurora, Sydney picked Belle and Hailey Snow White.

Cabo Cabo Girls Cruise

I was so lucky to be able to take a cruise with my best friends. I went with my Sister in law Laura and her two sisters Holly, Diana and they're mom Karen. Originally it was an all girl cruise. Jan (Craig's mom) was not well enough to come, so the girls ended up bringing they're dad. We were not sure we would be able to go with Jan's situation. She was showing much improvement so we did decide to go. Of course, we plan to take her on another one when she is well enough to go. Craig's dad was going to help with the kids but with Jan getting so ill I actually ended up taking my kids to California to spend the week with my parents. This was an amazing opportunity for the kids to spend some time with them and for me to catch my breath from a very difficult summer. It was so nice of them to watch my kids.

So off I flew from Sacramento to San Diego all by myself where I then met the girls and we took a taxi to the port. It was much easier to travel by myself. i didn't know I could be so efficient with just one.

This Is me saying "Bon Voyage" from San Diego. This was my first Cruise (I say first because I plan to go on several more in my life). What a beautiful place to sail away. I called this post Cabo Cabo because we spent two days in Cabo. 3 days at sea.

We were sailing in this picture. Our hair was all blowing like crazy and we were standing right next to the horn that went off several times. I think we all lost some hearing that day.

Here we are doing our emergency drill. I thought we looked awesome in our flotation devices

Our first night i discovered just how wonderful eating on a cruise can be. You can order several entrees if you want or dessert etc. It's awesomeHolly & I

Laura & Diana

This area is designated for adults only. We took turns getting up early to go save our spots right on the back of the ship. it was awesome to just enjoy the view and read and have some valuable R&R. I do realize we were very spoiled to be able to do this. We spent most of our time here while we were out to sea.

We were extremely hot from laying in the sun so Diana & I decided to hang out in this pool. It was frigid water but still felt good.

Cabo day 1:
Off to the tender boat to take us to Cabo.

Our first day in Cabo we went to the market and bought Lot's of beautiful Jewelry. Then we took a cab over to the "Me" resort to spend the rest of the day there. It was so awesome because we got to hang out and use the facilities for free. They even gave us a section in a cabana.

The water was amazing. I normally do not get in a wade around but I could not resist the temptation

Look at all the cruise ships in the back round

Cabo Day 2:

We all actually got a chance to drive the tender boat. We decided to do a snorkeling tour. We did it through Eagle Divers and our tour guide Joel was so nice.

Snorkeling ended up not working out for me though. I got really sea sick (even with Bonin) from the boat ride out to our location. I also Just hate snorkeling. I thought I would give it one more try but It didn't work out so well. At our first location I swam to the beach to see if I could get my nausea to settle. Then I was too much in the sun so I swam back to the boat. A few min. later a strange lady(not on our tour) hopped on our boat. she said to those of us on the boat"what? You've never seen a boat hitchhiker before?" She sat down and had a bag of stuff she started looking through. I was too sick to laugh but I thought it was crazy. Joel (our tour guide) was Diving with Holly and Diana and our boat driver did not speak any english and could not question her himself. When Joel and the girls surfaced he noticed the lady and started to question her. He was trying to find out where she came from and if she was in some kind of trouble. He didn't want to deny someone in need. She was not giving strait answers and got irritated. She just wanted a free ride back to the docks in Cabo. He told her we were not oging right away. That we were all on a paid snorkeling tour and we were going to another location. She got annoyed and said, "well that was a long swim not to go anywhere." She then hopped in the water and swam away on her back while holding her bag of stuff in the air to avoid it getting wet. This was the funniest thing I have ever seen. It was quite an experience. Then at our next location joel had me dropped to the beach (still sick) and the others finished snorkeling. Poor Laura got stung by a Jellyfish and couldn't snorkel anymore. It was an interesting day. Then we went to the market to get moere jewelry

Sorry for the drowned rat look but we had all been swimming in the ocean. I had to show our picture with Joel though because he was so awesome. This was our Formal night

We had a lot of great dinners. Our Servers name was Gusti and he was so much fun. we got to sit by the window more than once.

This is a photo to show how our steward folded our towels into animals each night.

This picture was taken the night our Server Gusti asked us to dance with him. Laura and I braved it together and it was a lot of fun.

This is Gusti in the middle.

All in all it was a pretty amazing trip. I missed my family though. The kids also had a great time with they're cousins and grandparents. Thanks girls for a really fun trip!
