It's beginning to look a lot like christmas!

I just love this time of year. As busy as it is...We have been going going going all month long so far. Here is a peak into what our family has been up to this December...

Our nativity was given to us as a gift from Craig's parents. It is very special to us because it was hand carved out of olive wood and was made in Jerusalem.

Our annual christmas cookie decorating. Here are my decoraters and tasters

Today we are forcasted to get atleast 8 inches on the bench where we live. It has only been snowing a few hours and I think it has hit 8 already. It may be a white christmas after all

Happy Holidays everyone!

Husband Tag

Oh this will be a fun one. I was tagged by Laura to do a post about my husband. I was excited to do this one because it has been so long since I looked through our old photos of dating and newly married. I have to appologize about the blurry pictures. This was before my beloved digital camera and I don't have a scanner so I just took these with my camera and hoped they would turn out somewhat. I am amazed everyday by how fast the time goes. I was just about to turn 19 when I met Craig for the first time. We were engaged when I was 19 and married when I was 20. He is 3 years older than me so we were both young and very much in love. I guess ultimatley we were lucky to find eachother so young so we could share the journey and grow up together. Here we are over a decade later and we still love eachother and we have taken quite a journey. Here are some photos of the past. Not the best but fun anyhow....

4 Wheeling

One really fun part about living in Utah, is the close and very awesome 4 wheeling. We took another trip down to Moab with a friend of Craigs and we took the kids out for some four wheeling. They wanted to ride in the black Jeep who is owned and driven by an awesome guy named Glen who is a moab legend. We had a great time and the kids couldn't get enough. I will admit I was very nervous my car was going to be wrecked but we escaped with no Damage. This car is so fun. We can take it pretty much anywhere! It is a great past time for our little family. Moab is really beautiful and I got some really cute shots of the kiddo's. Are you happy now MOM?

Thanksgiving Holiday

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving day at home this year. Grandma and grandpa skinner came out from California and celebrated with us. We had a yummy dinner with Turkey, Green beans, mashed potatoes, homemade rolls, cranberry sauce and stuffing. Then we had banana cream pie and laguna (chocolate pie) for dessert. It was so great and we got to enjoy the holiday with NO stress. Here are some pictures of our day..

After the dinner we cleaned up and saw Grandma's family in Mapleton, I went to meet up with the GNO crew for our annual all night black Friday shopping at 11:15 p.m.. It was so fun. Of course we loaded up on Diet coke and some of us brought tennis shoes to prepare for the night. We hit the outlets right at midnight and we left there at 4:30 a.m. When we came out of the last store we realized it was snowing pretty hard. I was not looking forward to the canyon drive home. But we made it down the mountain and got to our next destination safely. We headed to Gymboree at Fashion place. After that we hit the Mcdonalds for a 6 a.m. breakfast. I crawled into bed at 7:00 a.m. It was crazy but fun. We got lots of supper good deals. I am still recovering a week later. Thanks girls for a super fun shopping night. Yes we are crazy:)

BLACK OUT GAME! GO UTES

Our fight song:

"Utah Man"
I am a Utah man, sir, and I live across the green,
our gang it is jolliest that you have ever seen.
Our coeds are the fairest and ech one's a shining start,
Our yell, you'll hear it ringing through the mountains near and far!
Who am I,sir,
A Utah man am I!
A Utah Man,sir
Will be 'til I die.
Ki-yi!
We're up to snuff, we never bluff, we're game for any fuss.
No other gang of college men dare meet us in a muss.
So fill your lungs and sing it out and shout it to the sky,
We'll fight for dear old crimson for a Utah Man am I!
Ki-Yi!

We were so lucky to be able to take the kids to the Blackout game vs. TCU. Let me just say it was an awesome nailbiter of a game. We all got our Black Utah stuff on and had an amazing time. At the end of the game everyone was celebrating the win so hard that the whole stadium was shaking. What a fun and fabulous experience. We are so proud of our Utes. The kids love yelling GO UTES! Thank you grandpa for giving us your tickets. We had a wonderful time!

Thriller

Last night I had the opportunity to go see Thriller at Kingsbury Hall at the University of Utah with an old friend from college. I have to say I LOVED it. It was creepy when I first got there because there was a zombie gilr walking around outside and she was scary. I didn't know it was part of the show so I thought she was just crazy and wierd.LOL. It was a part of the show after all and I must say the zombies did a great job. I thought the show was funny, entertaining and all around fun. They had some amazingly talented people. It is a must see if you enjoy the theatre.

Halloween Fun

Last week was a busy week for Halloween stuff. We took the kids to the pumkin patch. It was a beautiful day to pick a pumpkin.

Then we also had the Neighborhood Halloween party. The kids had a blast and of course were filled with sugar. Here are some pictures of their costumes this year..
