Am I Crazy?

I would say yes. We took the kids over the weekend to a place called Delle so the boys could get some practice on there dirt bikes. The first reason I am crazy is because I let my husband talk me into getting my 7 year old a dirt bike. The second reason I am(CRAZY) some would say brave, I decided to get on Craigs very powerful and way too big for me dirt bike and ride around in the sand for a while. No accidents occured (thank goodness.) The third reason I am crazy is because I actually let my baby (Cali) who is 4 and still my baby, get on it and go for a ride with her dad on that very powerful thing. It was a lot of fun and thankfully noone got hurt. I always knew once we moved here..that it was only a matter of time before we ended up with dirt bikes. They love them and it is great bonding for Andrew and his dad. My only hope is that they continue to be careful! Here are some shots of the day...

Andrew makes Pre-comp swim team

Well all those swim lessons over the past 4 years have really paid off. Andrew tried out for the pre-comp swim team at dimple dell rec center. He was so very happy to make it. He swam really well and we are so proud of him. After Andrew watched a lot of Miachael Phelps and some of the other great USA swimmers at the olympics, he really had a desire to compete in swimming. Her are some pictures of that day...

The practice schedule isn't so easy though. He practices 1 hour on Monday and wednesday and then an 1&1/2 on Saturday mornings. He will be in great shape though. Great job Andrew!

All about Cali

Now that the school year has started again It has only just occured to me that my Baby(Cali) is grwing up all too fast. Cali has started her second year of pre school. She is going to a lady in my sister in laws neighborhood who has a school in her basement. She had taught all the other Reese children and this year Cali and her cousins whom she calls "her girls". She calls them that because they are identical twins and she doen't know which is which. She was very excited to start pre school again. She has such a desire to learn new things.

Cali's birthday party was a success. She opend her b-day box from nina and papa as soon as she got up. In it was a lot of fun things but she really liked this cabbage patch baby doll. Shortly after that she recieved her big gift from us.. A pink barbie bike. She was in heaven.
Then she had "her girls" the twins-sydney and Hailey over for a princess breakfast of strawberry pancakes. They were so cute all dressed up for there breakfast.
The we went over to grandma and grandpa Reese's for cake and ice cream and swimming.

It was a very good day for our 4 year old.
